Amruta TUmmala

Amruta Tummala makes textured and sculptural wall art. She's based out of Austin and her art is inspired by her travels. She transforms those quiet moments in nature into sculptural reliefs. Her ongoing series, Echoes of Nature, serves as a tactile journal of quiet moments that vanish as quickly as they appear: the hush after a summer storm, sunlight dancing across ocean waves, the last ember of daylight slipping beneath the horizon.

 

Through these works, Amruta invites viewers to slow down, trace the contours with their eyes, and rediscover stillness amid motion. By capturing transient sensations in sculpted form, she brings a breath of open air to interior spaces and reminds us that serenity is always present, waiting to be felt.
